If you just feel like getting out, stroll down the farmer’s road to get a scenic view of the surroundings and enjoy the great outdoors. If you are feeling a bit more energetic, our bikes can be used to cover a larger stretch of land...
You may come across some interesting creatures on your adventure: besides the frogs and toads, it is also easy to come across a family of pheasant or magnificent specimens of herons, moorhens, falcons, kingfishers,
mallard ducks, magpies, hare, turtle doves and there have been some storks and hoopoes, the symbol of the Italian Birdlife Protection Agency.
During the spring the fields are rich in wild greens, wild valerian, chamomile, poppies, and wild hops.. excellent for risotto. In the autumn mushrooms grow wild.
Leo, Pia e Birba, our pets, will warmously welcome you. Your pets are welcome during your stay, as long as respectful and well behaved.
Our neighbourghood’s own little 17th century church has some gorgeous frescoes.
We don’t have the hills of the Tuscan countryside... but on a clear day you can see the Prealp mountains in the distance ! For those of you who prefer to stay indoors, the house has chess, checkers, plenty of magazines, books, newspapers and music for our guests to enjoy.
